I have completed the associate level OG training course and am a member of the IDA (International Dyslexia Association). The associate level training course meets the requirements of the academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators Associate level curriculum. During this time I was working as a learning specialist at Fraser Academy in Vancouver B.C. Canada. The students ranged from grades 2-8 and this hands on experience gave me valuable knowledge in the implementation of the OG approach.

Testimonials for Resilient Readers

We couldn’t be happier with the progress our child has made under Sarah’s guidance. Her expertise in the Orton-Gillingham approach has been transformative, providing tailored support that truly meets our child’s needs. Sarah is patient, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable, creating a learning environment where our child feels confident and supported.

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah as a Learning Specialist, and she is truly exceptional. Her gentle, kind teaching style makes every student feel understood and supported, helping them grow with confidence. She was also a fantastic collaborator, always eager to share creative ideas and thoughtful lesson plans. Any family would be lucky to have her as a private tutor, given her expertise and genuine care.
